Even when I can't see...I press for he giveth sight to the blind
God's word contains our past, present and future. His plans, purpose and destiny for you and I are encased in His written word.
Reading and studying the word of God is difficult today.
Why? Because our engagement in life's activities have taken preeminence to the word of God.
Often we exhaust our energy on day to day business until there is nothing left to give.
Time with God and His word, arm the believer with power and authority to persevere; it gives hope and builds our faith.
When I take the time that is designated to God and place it above all else, opposition doesn't look so big. Pressing will allow you to see as opposed to not seeing.
The word declares in Psalms 119:105
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
It is obvious why there is a battle between flesh and spirit
....one seeks darkness while the other craves light. We all know
that the stronger man wins and his strength is determined by his nourishment.
Jeremiah 15:16- "When your words came, I ate them; they were my joy and my heart's delight, for I bear your name, LORD God Almighty.
(The joy of The Lord is your strength)
This blog is designed to encourage us to allow God's word to remove the blinders from our eyes by feasting on His word.
